Island Krk - Located in Kvarner Gulf and is one of the largest islands in the Adriatic. It is attractive and unspoiled nature, picturesque beaches and bays. The island of Krk is connected with the main - land with The Krk's Brigde, long 1308 m. The island has the area of 408 km2, lenght of 38 km, and the biggest width is 20 km. Richness of the island consists of beautiful nature, lush vegetation with many pine - trees. Quality grapes, olives, almonds, figs and sea food are the main reason why the island of Krk in the classical antiquity times is named The Golden Island.

Baska - the island of Krk
Baska is the most famous destination on the island of Krk, and it represents the cultural center of the island, where was found the oldest written monument of Croatian culture - Bascanska ploca, 900 years old.
Baska has long touristical tradition. In touristial offer there are quality accommodation in hotels, camps and apartments. Baska has many unique beaches. 2 km long sandy beach called Rajska plaza (The Divine Beach) is one of the most beautiful beaches on the world, and 1800 m long pebblly beach called Vela plaza (The Big Beach) is great for children and non - swimmers.
On the beach you can rent sunshade and deck - chairs, as well as different sport eqippment.
In the center of the town there are church and museum, and narrow streets lead to the coast, where are located many restaurants, coffee - houses, coffee - bars and confectioneries.

The beach is one of the most famous and the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic, it is pebble - sandy beach and it is long 1800 m, surrounded with pure clear sea.

There is in total 11 apartments. They all have secured parking space. They are air / onditioned and have TV and SAT set. Big grill in the yard is equipped and ready to use. Kitchens are fully equipped (microwave oven, coffee machine, big refrigerator, glass cooking panel, dishes etc.). Bed sheets and towels are included, and there is possibility to use laundry washing machine.

Island of Krk

The island of Krk is located in the north part of the Mediterranean, in the Kvarner bay and along island of Cres, it is the largest Croatian island. With the mainland it is connected with the Krk bridge, which makes it accessible to tourists who want to take his entire coastline, and it is important to note that there is the Rijeka airport, and as such is an interesting destination, not just in summer but in winter.
