apartments
The family lives in the house and is
available for guests upon arrival, departure or during their stay.
The house is located in the zone of Madonna del Monte, which is near
the center of the town of Poreč and the beaches. In the summer
months the zone is great for vacation, and in the spring and autumn
it provides peace to older visitors who can enjoy walking and
cycling.
Note: All apartments are equipped with a chandelier fans in bedrooms
and a portable fan. They are also equipped with all necessary
equipment for a pleasant stay of our guests.
Near the house there are sport and recreational facilities for
tennis, football, basketball and golf.
Shops and bakeries are close to the house. A few minutes of walk
will take you to the restaurant.
In the apartments may be set up a cot if necessary. All apartments
have a balcony or a terrace.
The courtyard has a beautiful garden and fruit trees.
Guests have at their disposal a barbecue. Parking is in the front of
the house. |

consists of a bedroom with double bed, living room with dining area
and kitchen. The living room has a sofa that turns into the third
bed. The apartment has its garden furniture on the garden terrace

Poreč - the largest and
most famous tourist resort in Istria with a rich historical heritage.
The beautiful old city with many monuments, such as the remains of a
Roman temple, Basilica of Eufrazije and other historic religious
buildings and monuments. Besides a lot of the old narrow streets there
is and a beautiful promenade by the sea. Poreč Riviera has many
peninsulas and small islands. Tourist accommodation facilities were
given names by the color of the sea such as the Green and Blue Lagoon,
and besides them there are Špadići, Brulo, Pical.
In the town, as well as throughout the Poreč Riviera, there are many
restaurants, cafes, coffee bars and pastries. Poreč offers its visitors
a variety of night entertainment in discos, nightclubs and bars. Various
sports facilities provide an active sports and recreational vacation,
and along tennis, miniature golf, table tennis, you can enjoy the
attractive water sports. |

festival at sea

|
All lovers of swimming
and other water sports, the town of Poreč and Poreč Tourist Board calls
for recreational swimming marathon, the central event of the swimming
festival at sea "Poreč dolphin".
Events in the "Poreč dolphin":

Swimming festival at sea is held ninth year in a row, and was built in
cooperation with the Hungarian county Somogy and the city of Šiofok on
the Balaton lake. Poreč as the Croatian tourist capital and recognized
recreation and sports center of the Mediterranean with festival of
swimming indicates its own very nature of the town near the sea, the
source of life. |

Poreč dolphin is a
swimming challenge for everyone because it does not matter which you
will get to the goal, it is important to participate. You can register
on site at the event.

• Start and finish of the swimming lanes on the Main town beach with the

GIOSTRA – Poreč
historical festival |

Do you wonder what Poreč
was used to be? What were the people who walked
through these old streets, in order to live, work, and above all,
entertain in the
town of a couple thousand years old civilization?
Encouraged by such thinking and playing with a time machine, we will
reverse and imagine the flourishing town of Poreč since 17th century on.
Awared and proud that Poreč has the rich cultural and historical
heritage, we decided to look into the distant 1672 in the historical
festival Giostra, which is
based on records on the yellowish pages of archives in the County museum
of Poreština and the National archives in Pazin.
It is known a fact from the 17th century where is noted that in Poreč on
the St. Michael's (Sv. Mihovil) day, on the 8th of May, was maintained
Poreč folk festivity Fiera franca triduana where it was held a crossbow
competition, dances and various folk games. The main event of the folk
festival was a popular horse race Giostra.
Every year in September, along with you, let’s go back for 300 years and
try to get a sense of the companionship, fun and traditions of our
ancestors and their guests.
We will walk the streets and squares of Poreč full of people in the
contemporary festive clothes, with street entertainers, jugglers,
flagmen and hikers on stilts.
We will be followed by the ancient music and dances from the 17th
century along which we could try to dance as well. |

This festival becomes a
tradition since it has its background in statutory town of Poreč from
1364. It determines to be maintained "at all future times," that is,
even today.
Let’s renew and keep our tradition! Let’s breathe together the scent of
the past! |

Venice
