Tribunj
Place of Tribunj is located 15 km NW
from the town of Sibenik, and 4 km from the well - known
touristical place of Vodice. This fishing place has 1300
inhabitants and it is ideal for family vacation with
children. It is located at the end of a bay, beaches are
made of pebbles and rocks. The town has no industry and
large hotels, the sea is clean and protected from the
bigger waves by surrounding islands. The islands
mentioned offer possibilities of going to the
touristical trips. On the hill over the town there is
St. Nicholas' church, and on the coast there is St.
Mary's church, built in year 1435. The town has narrow
streets. Every year there is a traditional contest,
donkey race. Donkeys are protected by law, and they have
unique reservat in the world, on the nearby island
called Logorun. Different possibilities of having fun is
offered in Vodice, where you can come for 20 minutes,
walking by the sea. Along fish - hunting, inhabitants of
Tribunj work in tourism and have large offer of
apartment accommodation.
